Job Purpose:-

 

To validate core product’s commercial content and to provide optimized content for local products

 Critical results

  • Content effiencies according to SLA (time and volume)

  • Quality definitions and targets per category

 

Responsibilities

  • Creates (SEO optimized) content (including features and images) for the new incoming local products
  • Validates the local content key elements of the new incoming central content production
  • Ensures content accuracy of new product requests according with Staples’ standards and guidelines
  • Performs ad hoc content analysis and reporting
  • Proactively monitors overall content quality flow to avoid bottlenecks
  • Ensures good understanding of the local systems landscape supporting product information management
  • Ensures that the local key words are correctly maintained, to help Staples customers to find the desired products
  • Go-to-person able to redirect to the correct local stakeholders operational queries concerning content from central
  • Adapts new processes and way of working according to the new business model and pro-actively seek info or training to learn

 

Knowledge, skills & experience

 Education and Experience:         

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, e-commerce or copywriting
  • Experience in e-commerce and content management

 

Core Competencies:

 Copywriting:

  • Native in represented language
  • Ability to write accurate commercial products descriptions
  • Ability to follow style guides
  • Understanding of content best practices for writing for the web
  • SEO and On Site search knowledge
  • Commercial instinct with an “improvement drive” to create commercially appealing content
  • Translation and localization understanding a plus

 

 

Troubleshooting and analytics:

  • Strong customer-focused approach with an analytical mind-set
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Process insight and attention to details
