Job Purpose


The overall responsibility of IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist is to provide technical support to our internal clients and implement the Technology Strategy. The Specialist supports standardized end-user devices and systems with a focus on aligning IT services with business needs based upon an understanding of ITIL practices. Candidate should not only have strong technical skills but also excellent customer service, teamwork, communication and troubleshooting skills.



  • Running daily IT infrastructure health checks.
  • Covering incident queue
  • Documenting support issues and all steps performed in ITSM ticketing tool.
  • Delivering and maintaining proper operation of IT infrastructure, in terms of hardware, network, and voice connectivity and printing solutions.
  • Supporting deployment and implementation of new products and solutions.
  • Diagnosing and resolving solution of end-user hardware/servers/network/voice technology related issues.
  • Liaising with third-level support groups when an additional support, advice is required.
  • Configuration and maintenance handhelds, maintain forklift terminals, label printers
  • Purchasing, configuration, and maintenance production desktops, laptops and printers.
  • Supporting, and advising during changes in warehouse, related to network or work place.
  • Maintenance local server infrastructure
  • Teaching users with IT-related tools
  • Building relationships with other Staples departments.
