Job Purpose

To fulfil Operational Support Functions like setting up new products, processing customer returns, DC profiling, DC customer logistics and maintaining WMS processes within the system Manhattan, SAP and LM within our New Multi Channel Distribution Centre in Corby.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform Operations Support duties (including, Cycle counts, Profiling, Customer Returns, Logistics requirements) in accordance with set procedures and Health and Safety requirements and work closely with colleagues to achieve daily set targets and KPI’s.
  • Review work practices and methods in order to improve stock flow, damages, customer order cubing and shrink, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained 
  • Complete and create Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) reports via Excel, SCI, Microsoft Query, Business Objects in order to or to interrogate stock files or transaction
  • Enter all inventory data and make adjustments correctly via Manhattan in order to ensure all inventory is accurately tracked and reported.
  • Control filing and other related record keeping functions with the servers or PC to store Stock information
  • Maintain new lines with creation of correct locations within the DC and assign locations in system (PTL System) ….
  • Work closely with Operations Inbound and Outbound departments, interacting and communicating with colleagues to resolve any issues or queries.
  • To help & support other departments in the Distribution Centre as needed due to business requirements. 

 

Knowledge, skills & experience

  • Professional Qualification preferred
  • 6 to 12 months experience and/or training
  • 1 years all round experience of warehouse
  • Operations, including the supervision of people
  • 1 years working in a service environment
  • 1 years working with warehouse managed
  • Systems
  • Workable knowledge of MS-office
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of local language, spoken and written
